About Breast Cancer Awareness

In 2025, the American Cancer Society projects approximately 316,950 new cases of invasive breast cancer in women and 2,800 in men in the U.S., with about 42,170 women and 510 men expected to die from the disease. The 5-year relative survival rate for breast cancer is 91%, but this varies significantly by stage, dropping to 32% for distant-stage cancer. Overall, over 4 million people in the U.S. are living with a history of breast cancer. 

Even with such high numbers, Breast Cancer is a difficult topic to bring up in general conversation where women and men would have the opportunity to share their stories.
